Somewhere in your marriage you stopped glowing! Lose weight, change your hair style and color, (if your are gray, freshen it back to your natural color, with non-chemical rinses), go back to school, begin doing things you never did before, wear make-up at home, buy sexy sleepwear, more stylish house clothes, etc. Buy a relationship book and learn a few tricks! Your husband is probably feeling old or slowing down in the bedroom and is looking for the woman he is married too and is no longer visually attractive to him, in other females.
Your husbands actions is shouting that he is craving female attention. He will soon be tired of the running around because this is something new to him, but he will not come home if his play-time at home is boring, needs to be upgraded, and receives no possessive attention at home. You are going to have to give these women a run for their money Verna, by out doing them in ways yours husbands head will spin around. You have the power of God behind you, but you must have his wisdom to win.
When your husband begin to take notice of a different, more independent, sexually attractive and personally empowered Verna, he will find excuses to be around you or want to come home more. The idea is to pray for your family daily, act as if you are not aware that your husband is paying attention to the new you and do have fun doing it. God is with you every step of the way, but you must cast your fear aside, realize that you can become a new Verna and fight for your marriage. His seeming prosperity may be part of a spiritual attack, to claim not only him but everyone around him. Do not lose your focus upon God. Renewing yourself can be helpful, but don't focus too greatly upon the competition. I add my prayers to yours, including prayers for this wayward fellow.
