Heavenly Father, Thou do we trust and turn to in our hour of despair. Lord Jesus of Nazareth, we humbly and shamefully come before Thee to confess our sins to Thee. Why do we turn to a liquid evil illusion, that only causes pain, lose of life and much anguish and tragedy. Why is it that whenever we drink from the fountain of darkness, we feel and act so much worse than when we first began.Help us Lord Jesus, to understand that it is our inner fear of knowing Thee that is turning us to drink a liquid of deception. Help us to realize that Thou art already embedded within our hearts, and whatever evil we drink to feel good, we are defiling the inner temple of God, with all that is poured into our mouths. Lord Jesus, all we need is to find a creative substitute for this abominable disease that is controlling us and dragging us down.
Bless us to understand, God is already in our life, and it is the living right, clean, activating His light by our creative purposes in life that will lift us up to remain strong in the eyes of God. Help us to know that we are much more than we now see within ourselves. Help us to understand that there is no failure in the things we do in the name of God. Why can we not forgive ourselves for all that we have done, knowing that our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, has already forgiven us. Who are we, and what are we if the only hope we know and will ever know lies in a bottle of darkness. We are somebody in the eyes of God, and no one can take that away from us.
Today we open our eyes and heart to God, and release the pain that lies within and know with changes in our lifestyle, changes in the people we surround ourselves with, and daily communication with God, we will truly find our way back to the love and understanding of God, that with Him all failures are lessons in helping us to grow and come closer to him. In Jesus name we will seek guidance and prepare to help and council others living daily in the bottle of liquid darkness.
We now understand that we unconsciously were drinking and depending completely on the spirit of evil and deception to live a more rewarding life. Lord, may we not pass this evil action onto our children or family members. See Luke 11:10-13 We are blessed to seek the help of our Lord, in Jesus name we pray. [Psalm 7, 15, 25, &148] Amen!
