Heavenly Father, when a veil of darkness descends down upon us under the name of depression, Thou do we seek to guide us out into the light of everlasting life. Lord Jesus, grant us Thine forgiveness and mercy to give us a chance to achieve all that Thou has placed us on this earth to do. Lord Jesus, bless us to leave our depression behind when we fully embrace a creative passion to make God proud. Help us Lord to Get Up and begin to accept responsibility and leadership as a young adult. Bless us Lord to understand that the journey to adulthood will be tough if we are not strong and Thine creativity and talents that are embedded within us is what will set us free to earn the respect and trust of all whom are against us as young adults. Grant us the strength to make a choice in how we would like our life to be in the next 5 years and in the eyes of the Lord. May we never forget that God is embedded within our hearts and as we discover how to creatively (music, art, photography,food service, design, technology, beauty, etc.) unleash the love of God within our hearts, there can be no place to have a depressed heart.
Bless us to understand that our efforts to succeed will lift us up out of the surroundings that created the darkness we now face. Bless us to know that God is watching and waiting for His children to demonstrate the wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit already within our hearts.
