"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." -1 Samuel 16:7b Heavenly Father, grant me the will and the complete desire to commit to Thee in Jesus name I ask this of Thee. Oh Lord, my life is not what Thou would want it to be for me, and Lord I know that all those that are in close association with me are living a shameless lifestyle before Thee. Forgive me Lord for all that I have done to offend Thee. Lord Jesus, as I humble myself before Thee, I beg for forgiveness for myself and for all my family and friends around me that are living in sin. Father, open my heart that I may see the reality of what stands before me.
Bless me to come to Thee and turn my life into a walking lamp of God's light, where I can show the God steadily growing within me. Help me Lord to become a guiding light for all those around me that are trapped in living a sinful life. Open my heart Lord to understand that anything that is not pleasing to Thee draws me further away from Thee. Bless me Lord with Thine confidence to trust solely in Thee. Grant me the strength to cast aside all persons, things and habits that are a barrier in my upward growth with Thee.
I surrender my burdens and all family problems that worry me to Thee Lord. Open the way that I may be free from guilt and disloyalty to Thee. Forgive all those that I am praying for today. Bless me to understand that it is my personal journey to bond with Thee. Thine will, not ours. [Psalm: 25, 27,51, 85, 145, & 148] Thank you Lord. Amen!
